Theater Collaboration

I work with theater directors to bring their ideas to life with movement and visual imagery. I work with actors, using both physical objects and their own bodies to relate to the stage space, each other and to enhance the story they are telling. I ask them to tap into the subtle and beautiful power of how we direct energy in our bodies and the space, helping them to carve out a refined embodiment that keeps serving the play. Through my work with directors and actors, we create the non-verbal text of the play together.
